Detroit Tigers
I’m getting pumped for the Detroit Tigers to start their season. Why wouldn’t I? They have acquired Miguel Cabrera, Dontrelle Willis, Jaques Jones, and Edgar Renteria. They are a dream team. In my opinion, they have the best starting pitching with Verlander, Bonderman, Rogers, Willis, and Robertson. I also think that they have the best batting, including Magglio Ordonez, Miguel Cabrera, Curtis Granderson, Placido Polanco, and Gary Sheffield.

Verlander’s no-no
Justin Verlander of the Tigers pitched a no hitter on June 12th, 2007. He was the first Tiger to do so since Jack Morris in 1984. He was also just the 5th different Tiger with a no-no and the 6th overall. Virgil Trucks had two no-no’s in the same year with the Tigers which happened in 1952. Verlander is, what I think, one of the best pitchers in the league. I’m not saying this just because he got a no-hitter, I’m saying this because he can pitch over 100 mph accurate and has great breaking balls. If you have seen him pitch, you would probably think he is one of the best too.
